Water Project

Have you ever looked at the definition of the word “water”?   An older version of the dictionary tells us that the word water means……”the liquid that descends from the clouds as rain, forms streams, lakes, and seas, and is a major constituent of all living matter.  It is an odorless, tasteless, very slightly compressible liquid oxide of hydrogen H2O which appears bluish in thick layers.  Water freezes at 0 degree C and boils at 100 degree C, has a maximum density at 4 degree C and a high specific heat.  It is feebly ionized to hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, and is a poor conductor of electricity and a good solvent.”   Simply stated, water is a source of life and good health.

A few years ago, a lady in our community planted a seed in my heart about water.  She had an idea about water being utilized to assist others.  On more than one occasion, I have spoken to her how the idea she shared with me still burns within me.  I would like to share with you how we plan to incorporate water into our mission.

One of our goals at Double R Farms is to further the use of water to broaden the limits of life and good health.  As we look back over the past years, we realize the blessings that we have been given.  Our idea is to share our blessing with others in our community.

Our commitment, simply stated, is that Double R Farms will use the net profits of bottled water sales and donate these funds to the local church where life and good health may be promoted in a more effective and efficient manner.  The funds from bottled water sales will be used to pay medical professionals to treat those in our community that cannot afford quality healthcare.

We are reminded of that story from long ago where a man paid others to care for a person with injuries and they happened upon him while traveling down a country road.

The Samaritan individual in this special story has set the example for all of us to follow and that is to care for one another.

Here at Double R Farms, we hope to use the tools at our disposal to enhance someone’s life and good health.

After all, it is His water.

To those who have taken the time to read this page…….If you would like to be part of this endeavor to make a difference in people’s lives,  please give us a call or send us a note.   We'd love to hear from you.  We welcome your thoughts and your ideas.

When someone works hard to do something to help others, a note of encouragement and even more important, remembering them in prayer means a lot.   Thank you for your support and prayers.
